I strongly suspect these are fake. The quality of the writing they produce is so-so. But the main reason I am suspicious is the quality of the printed logo on the side of the pens. One photo is a screen shot of the Amazon listing, which has clear sharp writing. The other photos are from the pens shipped to me where the writing is obviously smeared and of poor quality. I have already been refunded, which is OK, but I question whether these should continue to be sold by Amazon. I plan to refer my concerns to Trading Standards.Ok, so these are excellent pens for writing with.For the youngsters reading this, writing is that thing we used to do before they invented mobile phones and instant messaging!I like gel pens. They are smooth in writing, require little pressure and give a good finish - if you are not a doctor or pharmacist and have legible handwriting. For those people there is no hope! :)This pack comes with 4 different colours, so will be very useful for those kids who are forced to learn the dying art of actually writing properly.Longevity wise, They don't appear to last as long as a standard biro, but are a world apart when it comes to using. I will take the shorter life and higher price as a trade off here as these are not expensive items.Overall they come highly recommended to those of us who can still use a pen :)Thanks for reading and I hope it is useful.I bought these pens thinking they were the same my dad used buy. The body is, but for 3 of them, they've actually been updated to a lovely smooth gel ink that is so nice to write with. I was extremely confused and a little disappointed when I looked closer at the red pen and realized it was however not the same as the other 3 and not even a gel ink. It doesn't write as smooth and I have to go over it again in places, not an issue with the other 3. Still, the value for the price is fair in this dismissal economy.I love these pens, this is a repeat order for me, they are a wee bit scratchy but they last ages, they’re so comfy to hold even with my callus on my finger, they came so quickly in a wee envelope, the best way to send things in my humble opinion, means they get here on time with the postmanI do really like the 0.7mm pens, even though they don't seem to last too long. Strangley, the last pack I ordered said 0.7mm on the packet but the pens inside were 1.0mm. Having got used to the others it feels quite strange writing with these!
