As you and everyone knows white gels pens sometimes are not easy to use This one is really good ?After trying most white gel pens on the market, I have found one worth its price. It has not run dry quickly like so many other brands and has another great advantage. The set contains pens with three different size tips. I would highly recommend these. .Great performance. She was happyIt comes out in a nice flow with no clumping. I use it on watercolor paintings and it adds just a right amount of popFantastic buy 3 different size writing penscolors are nice .but have 10 that have cracked towards end of tipThis set of 12 pens was $20.99 less a couple discounts ($3.15 coupon; $2.15 subscribe & save) add tax came to $16.48, and I appreciated the discounts. Included in the set are four each of 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm pen nib thicknesses. I read the product description and had high hopes. Sadly, I returned this set long before the ink dried after 21 days. 21 days? Yes, that’s how long it took for this ink to dry.INK COLOR AND CONSISTENCY. Thick matte flat bright white. Luxurious ink. The final dried look reminds me of chalk but in pen form.TACKY AND SMEARS BAD. At first write, I noted that the ink remained extremely tacky so that running my finger across the page held my finger back. Running my fingers across the page also resulted in white ink on my fingers which the test page shows evidence of the smear. For black paper BUJO journalists, ink not drying shortly after writing means that the facing page will be covered in a white haze with dots and specks. Having to wait 20 days for the ink to dry on an open journal is unacceptable performance if you expect to rely on your journal daily.HOW LONG IT TAKES TO DRY. The ink does take some time to dry so it appears this is a pen ink characteristic one can intentionally use to smear the white ink onto the black paper. If the white ink remains untouched after 21 days, it maintains a nice flat matte white that is vaguely like a flat thin enamel. When the ink is touched prior to the drying period, the ink smears to a white haze on black paper and a white rubbery film transfers to the fingers. Even at 21 days, the ink still feels very mildly tacky. That said, if you are an artist who relies upon a white smeared effect, this is a good pen for you.NIB SIZES, INK FLOW, PEN TEST: If you check my A5 page pen test, you’ll see that the nib sizes are not so evident between 1.0 and 0.8 but there is much more difference between 0.8 and 0.6. The 1.0 kept skipping and the periodic ink flow stops made it a frustrating experience where it required me to write slowly, waiting for the ink to come out. The 0.8 felt easier to write with; 0.6 felt flowy. To be fair, I only tried one of each pen thickness rather than find the best in all twelve; I tested just one pen of each nib size; here are my comments for the ink flowing from each of the three nibs:- The 1.0 mm pen - skips easily, drags; must write slowly- The 0.8 mm pen - felt smoother and looser than 1.0- The 0.6 mm pen - most flowly of the three nibs as seen by the flowy tails of my handwriting sampleDespite having returned these pens, the thick matt chalk-like white looks great and is my favorite. Lastly, I appreciated being able to get a pack with several sets of the three pen nib thicknesses.I think if this company can tighten up the ink’s drying process, the visible line thickness differences between 1.0mm and 0.8mm nib widths, and eliminate the skipping, these pens will rock the black paper journaling world with its three pen nib versatility. The pens are nice I use them to add more colors to my sketchbook. But the damn glittery pink pen doesn’t work at all. I think it’s because it has too much glitter in it, I even tried to revive it and it’s still clogged. I got another one idk how but I did and again the pink glittery pen didn’t work. Very mad about it because it’s a nice pink but overall it’s very nice.I was looking forward to receiving these pens as I had heard great reviews, but although they came looking fabulous I was soon disappointed.A few of the lighter colours were so pale that they were unusable on anything other than black, which is fine but that wasn’t what I wanted them for, even on black paper they were pale. A number of the pens wouldn’t work at all, I emailed arteza and they suggested placing a little bit of warm water on the nib to get them flowing, it didn’t work on all of the pens, a purple glitter one wrote for a quarter of a page in a small moleskin notebook, then ran out of ink, I can see through the main body of the pen and it’s empty. I appreciate that these are cheaper pens but I think you do get what you pay for in this case.Gave 2 stars as the colours were fab and they were well presented, just let down by the actual ink.I’ve not quite made up my mind regarding Arteza gel pens. I feel that there are too many zingy bright colours. (Maybe other people like that). Could have done with some earthy colours in the pack. Some of the pens felt a bit scratchy with little colour coming out whilst other pens had a really nice flow. Until I’ve used them more I’m sitting on the fence on this one.Good pens with a nice range of nib sizes. Cream when used on white paper. Have had some slight issues with flow, but not too bad. Dries a bit chalky. So if using with fine liners, beware they can clog up on the tip and you need to wipe the tip of those pens. Make sue you let them dry, but can smudge a bit when dry aswell due to them being a but chalky. Despite that, good pens.Basically these pens are a 9/10.They never got a 10 due to one (the pine green) not working as well as the fact they seemed scratchy but that was only some of the darker colours. The pens overall are great. The colour is smooth ,easy to build up layers and dries quick, which is good if you're a leftie like I am. (Hello smudges lol)I did complain and recieved not only my money back. But a £5 promotional credit.I recieved these as a gift from my hubby. Who this account is in the name of.The gel pens are of very good quality. I was thinking given the number of pens the colours will repeat but it is 60 different shades and no repetition. Will definitely buy again after I run out of colours
