On popular demand, Osprey pens now brings a size 6 stainless steel FLEX NIB to the calligraphy community, after their recent success with size 5.5 Flex offerings. Regal in appearance, this fountain pen offers both style and #6 nib flex. This beautiful pen in a translucent midnight blue color is friction fit with a #6 stainless steel flex nib and ebonite feed combination. The pen comes with a custom converter that threads into the outer section. Keeping with the Osprey philosophy of modularity, we offer 5 choices of nib tips : Extra-Extra-Fine (EEF), Extra-Fine (EF), Fine, Medium and Broad.

The Madison in a midnight blue translucent color, is made from odor free, precious vegetal resin. The resin is cellulose (wood) based and not petroleum, making it much more eco friendly

The pen body is substantial but not too heavy or too light, feels sturdy on the hand. The pen measures 5.45" capped, and has a diameter range of 0.43” - 0.48”. It weighs 18g/0.6oz

Do not use India Inks or highly pigmented inks, or it will clog the ebonite feed. Use bottled fountain pen inks that are Ph neutral in composition.
